Nearly time to escape in the motorhome

Looking forward to our break away with the Poodles. Hope the weather stays mild! We are off to a small place near Chichester [don't usually 'do' the S Coast] so lots of fresh air and healthy walks after the Christmas binge!!!!

Pups 7 weeks old now

Well our fabulous Standard Poodle pups are ready for their new homes. all the families are lovely people and i know they will have great lives. Our house will seem very quiet!!!

Well pups are 1 week old today. 'Mum' is doing a grand job and all are happy and contented.

Well Belle's pregnancy is now confirmed as she has had a positive ultrasound scan - so hopefully the patter of tiny paws at the end of September. She is enjoying all the extra attention and food so is a very happy girl!

Hot, Hot, hot!!! ...........dogs

Have just returned home to find all 3 Poodles snoozing in the shade.... it's a dog's life! There is no fur or scattering of feathers so I guess the local cats and pigeons have not tried invading the garden this morning.Have just read in our local paper that someone has dumped a dog via a council Dog Exercise Area! Apparently the poor dog spent the night inside the fenced area until Dog Wardens were alerted,the poor lad is now in kennels.At least he wasn't dumped on a main road to take his chances with the traffic.

We share our home with our Standard poodles, Dino, Belle & Rex. Our dogs enjoy at least 2 good walks a day and our love and attention at all times. We have just mated Belle with Rex so hope to update you with news after an ultrasound scan in about 3 weeks time.
Our dogs accompany us on frequent trips in our motorhome where they take everything in their stride and love exploring new places.
As I write this Belle is on 'cat patrol' at the end of the garden and Rex is on 'pigeon duty' by the bird table. Dino is stretched out on OUR bed! At 10 years old he leaves all the guarding to the youngsters!!!
